“I got into the Batmobile thing because one of my older nephews got killed, and he was really a Batman fan. Everyone wore Batman shirts at his funeral. This is how I pay homage and keep his legacy going, because he really loved Batman. He was taken from us by gun violence.
“My car is a talking point for kids. They approach me because of the car and that gives me the opportunity to speak into their lives. I tell them to stay in school, study hard, work hard and stay out of trouble. You close so many doors when you get into trouble when you’re young.”
