“I’m very passionate about animals and animal rescue. When I lived in Arizona, I had a lot more time, so I was involved in some animal rescue groups out there. Here, I don’t have as much time to devote to that, but I certainly follow a lot of local rescue groups and try to help support them financially. That’s a big passion of mine, and maybe someday I’ll have enough time that I can volunteer more, too. I have found it so incredibly rewarding to spend time at the shelter and help those animals get homes. We have four cats and a dog (all rescues). I’d probably have more, but my husband put the brakes on that.”
