Staying Productive

“I am glad to be back at work. I was gone for like eight weeks. I painted my living room, my kitchen, my bathroom. Deep-cleaned everything. Went through all my clothes and my shoes. I have a bunch of those ready to donate, but I don’t think Safehouse is taking anything yet, so they’re just chillin’ in some tubs at the house.

“I walked my dogs a lot, like extra. And actually, they both lost weight, which is good. I didn’t. I gained weight, but… whaddya do? I took them to the vet to get their annual shots the other day, and the vets were like, ‘Oh, they both have lost weight! That’s really good! What did you do?’ and I was like, ‘Um… Covid?’ I was stuck inside, so I took them on like a million extra walks. But that’s good, because they were really fat chihuahuas.

“I had to threaten people to not color their own hair at home. They would message me, and I would say, ‘If you box color your hair, I’m gonna charge you double to fix it. That’s all there is to it; don’t do it! Nobody sees you right now, nobody cares, just leave your hair alone. I know you’re bored, but just stop.’ It’s good to be back to work.”
