Class of 2020 – Humans of Cape
Class of 2020

“I guess I’m okay. The only thing that makes me upset is that I didn’t get to really say goodbye to my friends, and a lot of them I’m probably never going to see again because I’m a senior and I’m leaving. Most of my friends I’ve been able to keep in touch with, but a couple of them, I didn’t have their phone numbers or they don’t have a phone. A lot of my friends are younger and some of them don’t have phones yet.

“I’m making plans with my friends to see them after all this is over with, so that’s something to look forward to I guess. And, of course, starting college this fall. I’m kind of stressed out about that. I had to talk to my advisor recently about what classes I am taking, and we discovered that they had forgotten to sign me up for chemistry. If you’re going to be a pre-med major, you kind of need chemistry. I guess it wasn’t in my notes that I was actually going through the Pre-Med program, but we have it straight now, I think.

“As far as school coming to an end… Me personally? I don’t really care, as long as I’ve graduated and they don’t try to hold us back. I have plans with my life; I can’t be held back. Like, that was my main concern when all of this happened. That they were going to try and make us re-make the quarter, during the summer or something like that. I’m ready for college.”
